How Payment Works

If you subscribe, your card is charged at check-out for the first box and again each time your subscription renews. Please note that selecting different delivery frequencies for your products will create separate subscriptions. For example, if you choose to receive liners and regular pads every month, but regular tampons every 3 months, this will create two separate subscriptions (one for monthly liners and pads, and another for quarterly tampons). You can make changes to your subscription renewal dates through your account.

Cancellation Policy

You must confirm your cancellation via your account home by 12pm PT the day before your subscription renews if you don’t want the upcoming month’s August box. If you confirm the cancellation after your next box is already processed, your order will still ship out but your subscription will not renew again moving forward.

Reminders

Don’t worry; we’ve got your back. You’ll get a subscription reminder email from care@itsaugust.co three days before your subscription renews, once it renews, and again once the box ships.

Favorite tampons

This is my favorite product of August! I struggle to find light tampons and these are perfect. I never place an order without adding on a box of these.

Best there is, try them!!

I first bought august tampons around a few months ago. When I ordered them I had been seeing them all over tiktok and other social media platforms, I finally decided to try them out. I wanted something more comfortable, organic, absorbent, and overall better for my health and the environment. FYI, before this I was using plastic toxic tampons like Tampax. So, I decided to order a box of august and let me just say the significant total difference in everything (absorbency, comfort, etc) they are amazing!! I was shocked at how comfortable and absorbent they are, even when using a light tampon it usually lasts me hours (3-4) on a heavy day, and when I want a little longer I just use a regular, haven’t tried super but I bet they are as good as the light and regular. Their pads are great too, soft and non-irritating, especially for those with sensitive skin like me. Once again, I was using always pads prior and they were horrible compared to these, itchy, rough and overall not absorbent. I used to always leak through the back when using those. When using august that never happens, the pad distributes the flow where it needs to be in order for you to not leak. One time I thought I leaked and when I saw august pad saved me I was so happy and therefore switched to august for good. I just wish they were in more targets like the one local to me, that way I could get them sooner! Some people argue that they’re too expensive but honestly, they’re reasonable and totally worth it, this is why: with these organic cotton (tampon or pad) you are spending less time changing the product (even on a heavy day) rather than changing the product multiple times a day since other brands aren’t very absorbent. Even though the others are cheaper they are horrible for your body and the planet, you actually spend the same amount of money and end up saving some in the long run since these products last longer (you don’t have to buy these as often-at least for me). Some people say they aren’t absorbent but they have been great for me, instructions are even super clear too, I think it’s just user-error. They also now just designed new packaging and a menstrual cup and I cannot wait to place my next order and get the new packaging it’s so cute and aesthetic! In addition, the tampons only come in three sizes (light, regular, super) and some argue against them because of this, but let me tell you that’s all you need, they are really absorbent and last hours so they don’t need to have or make a stronger absorbency than those. August if you’re reading this review, please make a combo pack of the light and regular tampons like you did with the regular and super this would help me out a lot! A lot of people are really scared to try tampons and I believe august is helping those overcome their fear, I did too but a total game changer especially with august smooth, easy insertion applicator. Perfect for a beginner and first time tampon user or great for the first-time menstruator, both pads and tampons great options, just depends on your personal preference, and I also love how their gender-inclusive, no judgement towards anyone (like some brands).Overall, glad to know I am now using something safe and friendly for both my body, and the world! Definitely give them a try, they’re totally worth it and won’t disappoint!

Great!!

All the products are very absorbent and I’ve had no leakage. Tampon applicators/design is easy to use. Really high quality cotton even in the liners. Love the brand mission and packaging! I feel good knowing I’m not putting plastic in my cooch…
